1. Not an Emergency or Crisis Service
Verity Mountain is a residential therapeutic retreat.
We do not provide emergency response, crisis intervention, or 24/7 medical care.
Our setting is designed for individuals who are able to engage in a structured, non-institutional environment.
2. If You Are in Immediate Risk
If you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm, please contact local emergency services or a qualified medical professional without delay.
Do not rely on this website or enquiry process in urgent situations.
3. Suitability for the Programme
Admission is based on suitability for a contained residential setting.
This environment may not be appropriate for individuals who:
- require emergency psychiatric support
- are at immediate risk of harm to themselves or others
- require intensive medical monitoring or detoxification
- require compulsory or externally mandated intervention
Where this is the case, alternative services may be suggested for general guidance only.
4. Medical & Specialist Support
Where medical or specialist input is required, this is coordinated through trusted independent external providers.
Verity Mountain does not provide medical assessment, detoxification, prescribing, or any other form of clinical care, on-site or otherwise.
5. Responsibility & Boundaries
Participation in the programme is based on personal responsibility and voluntary engagement.
While we provide structure, guidance, and therapeutic support, we do not take control of personal decision-making or provide crisis management beyond the scope of our setting.
6. During a Residential Stay
If concerns arise during a stay:
- these are addressed through appropriate internal processes
- additional support may be introduced where suitable
- external services may be contacted or involved if required
In situations where the environment is no longer appropriate or safe, alternative arrangements may be made.
